Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students completed the warm up on a new paper.
-Students had time to work on their dialogs about a trip to a sporting event.
-Students created concrete poetry for 7 vocabulary words on page 44 of their ISNs.
-Students created a collage of a "perfect" person using pictures from magazines. Then, they had to write 5 sentences to describe the person in Spanish.
-Students read the introduction to the new vocabulary on pages 114 and 115 in the text.  They translated sections B and C on page 49 in their ISNs.


Homework:
-José Martí biography due by 7:30 am, March 4, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Marti's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Complete workbook pages 73 and 74.
-5th  Timed Verb Post Test over reflexive verbs in the present and in the preterit will be on Friday, March 4th.





Blocks 2 & 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up on a new paper.
-Students created concrete poetry for 7 vocabulary words on page 42 in their ISNs, 
-Students in block 2 drew a backpack on page 45 of their ISNs and filled it with school supplies. Then, they colored their pictures and wrote 5 sentences to describe the contents of the backpack. Students in block 4 finished this assignment if they had not already done so.
-Students read the introduction to the new vocabulary on pages 110 and 111 in the text. Then, they translated each section on page 47 in their ISNs.
-Students read about a bilingual school in Mexico on pages 102 and 103 in the textbook.  They summarized what they learned, answered the questions from page 103 and compared graduation requirements in Mexico and the US on page 49 in their ISNs.


  
Homework:
-Martin Sheen biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, March 4, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Sheen's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Block 2: complete workbook pages 73 and 74.
-Block 4: complete workbook page 75.
