Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up on a new paper.
-Students recited the 3.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students added an additional note about the irregular yo form of hacer to their notes on ER and IR verbs in the present tense.
-Students played Tic Tac Toe with a partner using ER and IR verbs in the present tense.
-Students in block 1 took notes on the verb gustar with nouns.
-Students finished any remaining work from Friday.

-Students copied the new vocabulary for Unit 3 Lesson 1.
-Students created concrete poetry for 6 of the new vocabulary words.
-Students created bingo cards using the new vocabulary for 3.1. The front of the card should have one Spanish word per box and the back of the card should have 10 pictures and 15 English translations.
-Students completed a vocabulary handout using the new words.

Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students had time to finish the 2.2 lesson quiz if they didn't do that yesterday.
-Students copied the new vocabulary for Unit 3 Lesson 1.

-Students completed the warm up on a new paper.
-Students recited the 2.2 lesson vocabulary.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Martin Sheen and Carolina Herrera and took notes on both of their accomplishments.
-Students listened to the introduction to the lesson vocabulary. They took turns reading this aloud and translated part of it with their table groups.
-Students were told what will be on the 2.2 lesson quiz this Thursday.

-Students either drew pictures or selected pictures from magazines and wrote sentences about how the people in the picture were feeling or where items in the picture were located. Students had to use the verb estar and emotions and locations vocabulary from the current list.

First Quarter Ends: Tuesday, October 11, 2016.


Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students received graded papers.
-Students recited the 2.2 lesson vocabulary.
-Students finished copying the 2.2 lesson vocabulary into their notebooks if they hadn't done that yesterday.
-Students finished creating a bingo card using the 2.2 vocabulary. The back of the card has 13 pictures and 12 English translations.
-Students recorded their second audio file of themselves speaking Spanish and posted that on their blogs if that wasn't completed yesterday.


Homework:
-Martin Sheen biography due by 7:30 am on Friday, October  7,  2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Sheen's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook pages 73 and 74. 





Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students received graded papers. 
-Students recited the 2.2 lesson vocabulary.

-Students played bingo using the cards that they made yesterday.
