Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed the warm up and turned in their papers for the last two weeks.
-Students recited the 2.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students finished copying the 2.1 lesson vocabulary if they had not already done so.
-Students created a vocabulary concentration game with a partner using the words from the 2.1 list.
-Students played one round of vocabulary concentration with their partners.
-Students turned in their September homework calendars.



Homework:
-No new written assignment.



Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up and turned in their papers for the last 2 weeks.
-Students recited the 2.1 lesson vocabulary. 
-Students played another round of vocabulary concentration.
-Students took notes on regular ER and IR verbs in the preterite.
-Students started writing 7 sentences using the regular ER and IR verbs in the preterit tense in their notebooks.
-Students turned in their September homework calendars.



Homework:
-No new written assignment.

-Students listened to a guest speaker from Holland who talked to them about the benefits of speaking multiple languages, studying abroad and the value of travel.



Homework:
-Alberto Gonzales's biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, September 29,  2017.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to answer all of the questions on the document. 



Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:

Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students attended Ms. Magden's mini-concert. She presented a number of pieces of opera music and she talked about the importance of knowing additional languages to be a successful opera singer.
-Students copied the Unit 2 Lesson 1 vocabulary list into their notebooks.

-Alberto Gonzales's biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, September 29,  2017.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to answer all of the questions on the document.

-Students worked with a partner to create a vocabulary concentration game using the new vocabulary.

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 1.2 lesson vocabulary.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Sandra Cisneros and they took notes on her accomplishments.
-Students were told about the content and format for tomorrow's quiz over 1.2.
-Students glued their irregular preterite verb handout into their notebooks on page 24.
-Students were provided with feedback on assignments in the Google Classroom.



Homework:
-Alberto Gonzales's biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, September 29,  2017.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to answer all of the questions on the document. 
-Write 7 sentences in Spanish about a trip (real or imaginary) that your family took for a vacation. Use the vocabulary from 1.2 and 1.1 (if necessary).  Also, use regular AR verbs in the preterite tense and the 5 irregular verbs in the preterite tense (ser, ir, dar, ver and hacer).
-Study for the 1.2 Lesson Quiz tomorrow. Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, regular AR verbs in the preterite tense and the 5 irregular verbs in the preterite from this lesson: ser, ir, dar, ver and hacer.
