Block 1  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed Final Exam Review #5, which is pasted below.

  1. Translate each of the following into Spanish after copying down the English: tener ganas de, tener hambre, tener sed, el desayuno, el almuerzo, la cena.  Page 159.

  1. Write 3 sentences about foods that you like and 3 sentences about foods that you don’t like.  Page 145.

  1. Make a T Chart for the verbs beber and comer (both regular ER verbs). Page 150.

  1. Make a T Chart for the verbs vivir and escribir (both regular IR verbs).  Page 150.

Wednesday, December 12 is the final day for any make up work to be submitted.



Block 1  Spanish 1-2:
-Warm Up 
-Students practiced for the oral final exam today.  The students had a different partner than yesterday and practiced a different scenario. 
-Students started a review word search that will cover vocabulary from each list we have studied.
-Students were reminded of all upcoming assignments and deadlines.

Homework:
-Finish creating a word search using vocabulary from each list.  Students are to select 2 challenging words from each of the 9 lists (preliminary lesson - 4.2) and 7 words from the list for 5.1.  This will equal a total of 25 words.  Be sure to hide the words in the puzzle in Spanish and give the clues in English below.
-Oscar de la Renta biography email is due by 7:30 am Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
-Extra Credit:  Pedro E. Guerrero biography email is due by 7:30 am Wednesday, December 12, 2012.

-Finish creating a word search using vocabulary from each lesson this semester.  Students need to select 2 challenging words from each of the first 9 lists (preliminary - 4.2) and 7 words from 5.1 for a total of 25 words.
