Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed the warm up on a new paper.
-Students quizzed a partner over the 2.2 lesson vocabulary.
-Students created concrete poetry for 6 of the words from the 2.2 lesson vocabulary list in their notebooks on page 40.
-Students created a word search using the vocabulary from Unit 2 Lesson 2. The students had to hide 20 Spanish words in the puzzle and write the English clues at the bottom of the paper.
-Students finished their player cards on page 41 of their notebooks if that was not completed on Friday.



Homework:
-Antonia Novello's biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, October 20,  2017.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to answer all of the questions on the document.
-Write 5 sentences in Spanish on a separate sheet of paper. Each sentence must contain at least one of the vocabulary words from the Unit 2 Lesson 2 list.






Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up on a new paper.
-Students quizzed a partner over the 2.2 lesson vocabulary. 
-Students created concrete poetry for 6 of the words on the 2.2 lesson vocabulary list on page 40 in their notebooks. 
-Students created a  word search using the vocabulary from Unit 2 Lesson 2. The students had to hide 20 Spanish words in the puzzle and write the English clues at the bottom of the paper.

-Students completed the warm up and turned in their papers for the last two weeks.
-Students recited the 2.2 lesson vocabulary.
-Students had time to work on their player card for the athlete they selected after reading the assignment in "Ahora" magazine. This was done on page 41 of their notebooks.
-Students played 2 rounds of bingo using the cards they created yesterday.




Homework:
-No new written assignment.




Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up and turned in their papers for the last two weeks.
-Students recited the 2.2 lesson vocabulary.

-Students copied the 2.2 lesson vocabulary into their notebooks.
-Students created a bingo card using the 2.2 lesson vocabulary. The front of the card needs to have 1 Spanish word per box. The back of the card should have 15 pictures and 10 English translations.
-Students had time to work on the reading comprehension assignment from "Ahora" magazine in the Google Classroom.



Homework:
-José Martí's biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, October 13,  2017.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to answer all of the questions on the document.
-Finish copying the 2.2 lesson vocabulary and creating the bingo card if those items weren't completed in class.

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 2.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Gloria Estefan and took notes on her accomplishments.
-Students were told about the format for the 2.1 lesson test tomorrow.
-Students took notes on demonstrative pronouns and  completed a practice activity using demonstrative pronouns.
-Students continued working on the sports in Spanish speaking countries assignment in the Google Classroom.



Homework:
-José Martí's biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, October 13,  2017.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to answer all of the questions on the document.
-Finish the ER/IR preterite verb handout and finish the demonstrative adjective handout.
-Study for the 2.1 lesson test tomorrow. Test topics: lesson vocabulary, regular ER/IR verbs in the preterite tense, changing adjectives into adverbs and demonstrative adjectives.
