Blocks 1, 4 and 5  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up and turned in their papers for the last two weeks.
-Students recited the lesson 1 vocabulary and the numbers 0 - 30.
-Students had a few minutes to review for the lesson 1 test.
-Students took the lesson 1 test.

Homework:
-No new written assignment.





Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up and turned in their papers for the last two weeks.
-Students recited the lesson 1 vocabulary.
-Students played vocabulary bingo.
-Students took a pretest on reflexive verbs.
-Students took notes on reflexive verbs in the present tense.

Homework:
-No new written assignment.

-Students completed the warm up.

-Students in block 4 took notes on telling time.
-Students completed a time handout.
-Students in block 1 received their workbooks.
-Students completed online exercises to practice the concepts in this lesson.

-Isabel Allende's biography is due by the beginning of class on Friday, August 30,  2019.  The directions for this assignment are in the Google Classroom. The assignment needs to be completed in the notebook.
-Lesson 1 Test on Friday, August 30th. Test topics: lesson vocabulary, numbers 0 - 30, definite and indefinite articles, subject pronouns, the verb ser and telling time.
-Finish any work not completed in class.

Today was a 1/2 day for students.

Welcome Back!

¡Bienvenidos a la clase de espaƱol! You will only need a few supplies for this class. Please have the following items with you in class by Friday, August 9th. You will need: 1 - one subject spiral bound notebook (you’ll want to get the ones that are 25 cents and have a paper cover.), 3-5 glue sticks, & a package of colored pencils. We’ll be using the colored pencils a LOT, I recommend Crayola. They seem to last the longest and color the best. I am looking forward to a terrific semester.
