Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 2.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students received graded papers.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Alberto Gonzales and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students completed a free writing assignment about a trip that they took and a sporting event that they saw/attended while they were on the trip.
-Students were paired with another student in the class to start working on their dialogs about a trip to a sporting event using vocabulary from 1.2 and 2.1.


Homework:
-Gloria Estefan biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, February 26, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms.  Estefan's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Complete workbook page 55.
-Unit 2 Lesson 1 Quiz on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Quiz Topics: lesson vocabulary, regular ER and IR verbs in the preterit, adverbs and demonstrative adjectives.
-4th  Timed Verb Post Test over regular ER and IR verbs in the preterit will be on Friday, February 26th.





Blocks 2 & 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the Unit 2 Lesson 1 vocabulary.
-Students received graded papers.
-Students in block 2 corrected workbook pages.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Anthony Quinn and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students in block 4 took notes on telling time.
-Students practiced telling time in Spanish.


  
Homework:
-Sonia Sotomayor biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, February 26, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Sotomayor's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Block 2: complete front of time handout and workbook pages 53 and 54.
-Block 4: complete front of time handout and workbook pages 55 and 58.
-Unit 2 Lesson 1 Quiz on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, tener, regular AR verbs in the present tense and telling time.
