Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students completed the warm up and turned in their papers for the last two weeks.
-Students quizzed a partner over the 2.1 vocabulary.
-Students created a bingo card using the 2.1 lesson vocabulary. The front of the card should have 25 Spanish words and the back should have 10 pictures/15 English translations.
-Students created a word search using the 2.1 lesson vocabulary. The students had to hide 20 Spanish words in the puzzle and write 20 Spanish clues at the bottom of the paper.
-On page 28 in their notebooks, students needed to write 8 sentences in Spanish about things people did on their vacations.



Homework:
-Sandra Cisneros biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, February 12, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Cisneros's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Complete workbook page 52.
-3rd  Timed Verb Post Test over regular AR verbs and irregular verbs in the preterit will be on Tuesday, February 16th.





Blocks 2 & 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up and turned in their papers for the last two weeks.
-Students created a bingo card using the vocabulary words for Unit 2 Lesson 1. The front of the card should have one Spanish word per box and the back of the card should have 10 pictures/15 English translations.
-On page 32 in their notebooks, the students needed to create concrete poetry for 5 words from the 2.1 vocabulary list.  The word had to be used at least 6 times to create the picture.
-Students created a word search using the vocabulary for 2.1. The students had to hide 20 Spanish words in the puzzle and list the 20 English translations at the bottom of the paper.
-Students copied the verb T chart for tener onto page 35 in their notebooks.
-Students completed a handout to practice using the verb tener.


  
Homework:
-Celia Cruz biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, February 12, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Cruz's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Complete workbook page 52
