Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students started their list of AR verbs.  After copying my list, they worked with their table groups to translate the verbs. 
-Students corrected last night's homework.
-Students quizzed a partner over the lesson vocabulary for 2.1.
-Students took notes on demonstrative adjective and demonstrative pronouns.
-Students completed a partner activity using both demonstrative adjectives and demonstrative pronouns.



Homework:
-Gloria Estefan biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, February 27, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Estefan's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Complete workbook pages 56 and 57.
-Go to www.classzone.com and take the 2.1 self check quiz.  Email me your score by 7:30 am on Thursday, February 26, 2015.
-4th timed verb pretest this Friday over regular ER/IR verbs and CAR, GAR, ZAR verbs in the preterite.
-3rd binder check on Thursday, February 26, 2015
-Unit 2 Lesson 1 Quiz on Thursday, February 26, 2015.  Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, regular ER and IR verbs in the preterite, demonstrative adjectives and adverbs. 




Block 2  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students participate in a class discussion about Anthony Quinn and took notes on his accomplishments. 
-Students corrected last night's homework.
-Students completed a partner activity to practice the verb tener. 
-Students played a verb dice game to practice conjugating regular AR verbs and tener in the present tense. 

 
Homework:
-Sonia Sotomayor biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, February 27, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Sotomayor's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Complete workbook pages 52 and 54
-3rd notebook check on Thursday, February 26, 2015.
-Unit 2 Lesson 1 Quiz on Thursday, February 26, 2015.  Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, the verb tener, regular AR verbs in the present tense and telling time. 
-1st timed verb pretest this Friday over regular AR verbs in the present tense.  





Block 5  Spanish 3-4:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students took notes on regular ER and IR verbs in the preterite.
-Students played a verb dice game to practice conjugating regular ER and IR verbs in the preterite.  
-Students started working on their vocabulary flashcards for 2.1. 
-Some students took a make up timed verb test.


Homework:
