Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Alberto Gonzales and took notes on his accomplishments. 
-Students used their circle maps from last week to create their flee maps as the next step in their writing assignment about a trip they took in the past.
-Students corrected workbook pages from last week.
-Students completed a worksheet to practice changing adjectives into adverbs.  They also worked with their table groups to translate the adverbs into English.



Homework:
-Gloria Estefan biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, February 27, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Estefan's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Complete workbook pages 51 and 52.
-4th timed verb pretest this Friday over regular ER/IR verbs and CAR, GAR, ZAR verbs in the preterite.
-3rd binder check on Thursday, February 26, 2015
-Unit 2 Lesson 1 Quiz on Thursday, February 26, 2015.  Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, regular ER and IR verbs in the preterite, demonstrative adjectives and adverbs. 




Block 2  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students took notes on regular AR verbs in the present tense.
-Students played verb Tic Tac Toe to practice regular AR verbs in the present tense. 
-Students practiced the lesson vocabulary. 

 
Homework:
-Sonia Sotomayor biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, February 27, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Sotomayor's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Complete workbook pages 56 and 57
-3rd notebook check on Thursday, February 26, 2015.
-Unit 2 Lesson 1 Quiz on Thursday, February 26, 2015.  Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, the verb tener, regular AR verbs in the present tense and telling time. 
-1st timed verb pretest this Friday over regular AR verbs in the present tense.  





Block 5  Spanish 3-4:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Alberto Gonzales and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students listened to the introduction to the new vocabulary.  
-Students read the introduction to the new vocabulary popcorn style. 
-Students worked with their table groups to translate sections of the introduction to the new vocabulary.
-Students took notes on how to change adjectives into adverbs.
-Students completed a handout to practice changing adjectives into adverbs.  Then, they worked with their table groups to translate the adverbs.  


Homework:
-Gloria Estefan biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, February 27, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Estefan's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Finish the student created word search you were given in class today.
-Finish copying the Unit 2 Lesson 1 vocabulary.  This can be done on paper or you can create a set of flashcards on your phone.

-3rd binder check on Thursday, February 26.
