Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students  completed the student information sheet.
-Students were given the seating chart. 
-The teacher presented the classroom policies and procedures.
-Students completed a Find Someone Who Activity.
-The students listened to the teacher's introduction to herself in Spanish and took notes on what they understood. 
-Students completed a round table vocabulary review.
-Students started writing an introduction to themselves in Spanish.  They will have time to finish tomorrow.


Homework:
-Luis Walter Alvarez biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, January 9, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Alvarez's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Write 8 sentences about your family in Spanish.
-Each student needs a binder with 5 dividers for this class by Monday, January 12, 2015. 



Block 2  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the student information sheet.
-Students were given the seating chart. 
-The teacher presented the classroom policies and procedures.
-The students completed a Find Someone Who Activity.
-Students took notes on questions and answers for their first dialog: what's your name, how are you, where are you from,  and how old are you.
-Students practiced the dialog several times with a partner.
-Students took notes on the numbers 0 - 10 and the days of the week.  


Homework:
-Carlos Santana email due by 7:30 am, Friday, January 9, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Santana's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.  
-Make a list of at least 10 Spanish words that you see in our community today.
-Each student needs a binder with 5 dividers for this class by Monday, January 12, 2015.
