Tuesday, January 13, 2015 is a 1/2 day for students.

Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Dr. Luis Walter Alvarez and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students set up their binders with the correct sections. 
-Most students recited the Spanish alphabet for the teacher.
-Students took notes on the irregular verbs: ser, tener, ir and estar.
-The students started playing bingo using the cards they made with the preliminary lesson vocabulary. 


Homework:
-Rita Moreno biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, January 16, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Moreno's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Write 7 sentences using the vocabulary words from the preliminary lesson.  Each sentence needs to have at least 2 vocabulary words from the list.
-Each student needs a binder with 5 dividers for this class by Monday, January 12, 2015.
-Remaining dialogs will be presented tomorrow.
-Any students who didn't recite the alphabet today will do that tomorrow. 
-1st timed verb pretest this Friday.



Block 2  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students set up their binders with the appropriate sections. 
-Most students recited the Spanish alphabet for the teacher.
-Students started playing bingo using the cards they made with the preliminary lesson vocabulary.
-Students started the numbers/days of the week handout.


Homework:
-Ellen Ochoa email due by 7:30 am, Friday, January 16, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Ochoa's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.  
-Complete the numbers/days of the week handout.
-Each student needs a binder with 5 dividers for this class by Monday, January 12, 2015.
-Remaining dialogs will be presented tomorrow.
-Any students who did not recite the alphabet today will do it tomorrow.



Block 5  Spanish 3-4:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Dr. Luis Walter Alvarez and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students organized their binders with the appropriate sections. 
-Most students recited the Spanish alphabet for the teacher.
-Students completed the True Colors Inventory and participated in a class discussion about the results. 


Homework:
