 Spirit Week

Dress Up Day for Tuesday: Halloween

Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Jose Ferrer and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students had time to work on their dialogs. 
-Students completed another direct object pronoun find someone who activity.
-Students took the direct object pronoun quiz.


Homework:
-Dolores Huerta biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, January 30, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Huerta's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Create vocabulary word search using 20 words from the 1.1 list.  Remember that your clues need to be in Spanish.
-2nd timed verb pretest this Friday over stem changing verbs.
-Unit 1 Lesson 1 Quiz on Thursday, January 30, 2015. Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary and direct object pronouns.



Block 2  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Cesar Chavez and took notes on his accomplishments. 
-Students quizzed a partner using the subject pronoun cards they made last week. 
-Students made flashcards for the verb ser. 
-Students played a game using the flashcards for the verb ser.


Homework:
-Isabel Allende email due by 7:30 am, Friday, January 30, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Allende's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Complete workbook pages 4 & 5.
-Unit 1 Lesson 1 Quiz on Thursday, January 29, 2015.  Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, subject pronouns, the verb ser and gustar. 



Block 5  Spanish 3-4:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students quizzed a partner over the 1.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students played a vocabulary game with a partner.
-Students took notes on direct object pronouns.
-Students completed a handout to practice direct object pronouns.  


Homework:
