Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students completed the Tour of the Text handout and turned that in.
-Students worked with their table groups to brainstorm questions that they learned in Spanish 1-2.  Then, they shared those questions with the class.
-Students selected a partner and started practicing their first dialogs based on the questions that were brainstormed in class.
-Students practiced the Spanish alphabet.

Homework:
-Luis Walter Alvarez biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, January 8, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Alvarez's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-In Spanish, write an 8 sentence paragraph about the people in your family.
-Bring a single subject spiral notebook and glue sticks to class on Thursday.
-Follow the link to the Google Classroom in your pvlearners email to activate your enrollment.
-Be prepared to recite the Spanish alphabet next Monday.







Blocks 2 & 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students completed the Tour of the Text handout and turned that in.
-Students in block 2 completed a find someone who activity.
-Students practiced the Spanish alphabet.
-Students practiced the numbers 0 - 10 and the days of the week in Spanish.
-Students started making a bingo card using the vocabulary from the preliminary lesson.  The front of the card needs to have 25 Spanish words and the back of the card needs 10 pictures & 15 English translations in the corresponding boxes.

  
Homework:
-Carlos Santana biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, January 8, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Santana's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Finish the bingo card you started in class.
-Bring a single subject spiral notebook and glue sticks to class on Thursday. 
-Follow the link to the Google Classroom in your pvlearners email to activate your enrollment.
-Be prepared to present the alphabet in Spanish by next Monday.
-Be prepared to present your dialog in Spanish by next Tuesday.
