It's Spirit Week! 

Tomorrow's dress up day is hippie vs hipster


Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 1.1 vocabulary.
-Students received their graded ISNs.
-Students made test corrections on their preliminary lesson quizzes if they needed to.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Mario Molina and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students created cards for a memory game using the current vocabulary words.



Homework:
-Dolores Huerta biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, January 29, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Huerta's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Finish creating cards for memory game if that was not done in class.
-Make a list of 5 questions that you could ask as part of a dialog about preparing for a trip. Be sure to use the vocabulary from this lesson.
-2nd Timed Verb Post Test over stem changing verbs in the present tense will be on Friday, January 29th. 
-1.1 Lesson Quiz will be on Thursday, January 28, 2016. Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, stem changing verbs and direct object pronouns.
-Parent Teacher Conferences will be held the evening of Thursday, January 28, 2016.





Blocks 2 & 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the Unit 1 Lesson 1 vocabulary in Spanish.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Cesar Chavez and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students in block 4 received their graded ISNs.
-Students took notes on the verb ser.
-Students created cards for a memory game using the current lesson vocabulary.


  
Homework:
-Isabel Allende biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, January 29, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Allende's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Complete workbook pages 4 and 5.
-Finish creating cards for the memory game if that was not done in class.
-1.1 lesson quiz will be on Thursday, January 28, 2016.  Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, subject pronouns, the verb ser and the verb gustar.
-Parent Teacher Conferences will be held the evening of January 28, 2016.
