It's Spirit Week! 

Tomorrow's dress up day is villain vs superhero.


Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 1.1 vocabulary.
-Students took notes on direct object pronouns.
-Students completed a handout to practice using direct object pronouns.
-Students started working with a partner to practice a dialog about preparing for a trip. The dialogs need to include current vocabulary, stem changing verbs and direct object pronouns.



Homework:
-Dolores Huerta biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, January 29, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Huerta's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Complete workbook pages 4 and 5.
-2nd Timed Verb Post Test over stem changing verbs in the present tense will be on Friday, January 29th. 
-1.1 Lesson Quiz will be on Thursday, January 28, 2016. Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, stem changing verbs and direct object pronouns.
-Parent Teacher Conferences will be held the evening of Thursday, January 28, 2016.





Blocks 2 & 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the Unit 1 Lesson 1 vocabulary in Spanish.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night.
-Students in block 2 took notes on the verb gustar and practiced writing several sentences using that verb.
-Students in block 4 finished interviewing 5 other students and started writing sentences about those students in Spanish based on the interviews.
-Students played a memory game using the cards they made yesterday.


  
Homework:
-Isabel Allende biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, January 29, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Allende's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Block 2: Complete workbook pages 6 and 7.
-Block 4: Complete workbook page 6 and finish writing the sentences for the 5 people you have information about on page 2 of your ISN. 
-Go to www.classzone.com and take the Unit 1 Lesson 1 self check quiz. Remember to email your score to my pvlearners account by 7:30 am on Thursday. Your email must include a screenshot or your must copy and paste the results into the email. 
-1.1 lesson quiz will be on Thursday, January 28, 2016.  Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, subject pronouns, the verb ser and the verb gustar.
-Parent Teacher Conferences will be held the evening of January 28, 2016.
