Urgent:  Don't forget attendance contracts, student handbook contracts and emergency cards are due tomorrow.

Block 1  Spanish 1-2:
-Warm Up
-Students turned in the signature page for the syllabus.
-Students practiced the alphabet.
-Students finished copying the preliminary lesson vocabulary.
-Some students recited the alphabet for the teacher while the rest of the class copied the vocabulary.
-Students designed their own T Shirts and finished decorating their portfolio folders.
-Students repeated the new vocabulary.

Homework:
-Syllabus signature page
-Bingo card - Spanish words on the front and English words on the back.
-Carlos Santana biography email due by 7:30 am Friday, August, 17, 2012
-Preliminary Lesson Quiz - Tuesday, August 21, 2012

Blocks 2 and 4  Spanish 3-4:

-Warm Up

-Block 2 students turned in their attendance and handbook contracts.

-Block 2 students received their emergency cards.  These are due by Friday at the latest.

-Students practiced the alphabet.

-Students finished copying the preliminary lesson vocabulary.

-Some students recited the alphabet for the teacher while the rest of the class copied the vocabulary.

-Students finished creating their shields and finished decorating their portfolio folders.

-Students filed their MI Inventories and True Colors Inventories in their portfolios.

-Students took notes on ser and tener.
