URGENT:  Students received a Handbook Contract (1/2 sheet of green paper) and an Attendance Contract (full sheet of purple paper) during their second block class today.  These papers must be signed and returned to the second period teacher by this Wednesday, August 15, 2012.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

Block 1  Spanish 1-2:
-Warm Up
-Students turned in the signature page for the syllabus.
-Alphabet Practice
-Students were assigned a textbook number.
-Students completed the Tour of the Text handout.
-Some students recited the alphabet for the teacher.  Remaining students will complete this over the next couple of days.
-Students decorated their portfolio folders.  
-Students set up their binders

Homework:
-Send introductory email if that has not already been done.  It was due at 7:30 am this morning. 
-Complete signature page of the syllabus if that was not already done.
-Practice the alphabet.

Blocks 2 & 4  Spanish 3-4:

-Warm Up

-Students turned in the signature page for the syllabus.

-Alphabet Practice

-Block 2 students received the bathroom passes for the back of their ID cards.

-Students completed the Tour of the Text handout.

-Some students recited the alphabet for the teacher.  Remaining students will complete this over the next couple of days.

-Students had time to practice their dialogs that will be due on Wednesday.  Some students already presented this to the teacher. 

-Students finished their shields.

-Students set up their binders.
