Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 3.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night.
-Students were told about the format of the 3.1 quiz for tomorrow.
-Students listened to the introduction to the vocabulary for 3.1. They also took turns reading this aloud and translating a section of the introduction with their table groups.
-Students started their Me Gusta mini posters in their notebooks. The directions for this are in the Google Classroom.


Homework:
-Tito Puente biography due by 7:30 am on Friday, November 4,  2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Puente's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Block 1: no new written assignment
-Block 4: workbook pages 104 and 113
-Go to www.classzone.com and take the 3.1 self check quiz. Remember that you need to email me your score by 7:30 tomorrow morning. Be sure to include the title of the self check quiz.
-3.1 Lesson Quiz tomorrow. Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, regular ER and IR verbs in the present tense and the verb gustar with nouns.





Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 3.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students updated the table of contents in their notebooks.
-Students corrected workbook pages from last night.
-Students listened to the introduction to the vocabulary and took turns reading it aloud. They also translated a section of the passage with their table groups. 
-Students took notes on pronouns after prepositions.
-Students started to create a fashion design of their own in their notebooks. These should be finished for homework tonight.

Homework:
-Maria Hinojosa biography due by 7:30 am on Friday, November 4, 2016. This must be submitted via Google Classroom. Remember to explain why Ms. Hinojosa's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world. You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook pages 105 and 106.
-Finish your fashion design assignment in your notebook.
-Go to www.classzone.com and take the 3.1 self check quiz. Remember to email me your score by 7:30 Friday morning. Be sure to include the title of the quiz.
-3.1 Quiz Friday. Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, verbs with irregular yo forms in the present tense, verbs like gustar and pronouns after prepositions.
