Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up on a new paper.
-Students recited the 3.2 lesson vocabulary.
-Students received graded papers.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Judith Baca and took notes on her accomplishments.
-Students created a circle map about Cesar Chavez and his life. They worked with their table groups to do this.


Homework:
-Desi Arnaz biography due by 7:30 am on Friday, November 18,  2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Arnaz's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook pages 124 and 127.





Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up on a new paper.
-Students recited the 3.2 lesson vocabulary.

-Students participated in a class discussion about Jerry Garcia and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students took notes on more irregular verbs in the preterite: estar, poder, poner, saber and tener.
-Students created a circle map about Cesar Chavez and his work. They worked with their table groups to complete this.


Homework:
-Salma Hayek biography due by 7:30 am on Friday, November 18, 2016. This must be submitted via Google Classroom. Remember to explain why Ms. Hayek's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world. You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook pages 125 and 126.
