Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 3.2 lesson vocabulary.
-Students reviewed their goals for this semester and reflected on their progress on those goals in their notebooks.
-Students participated in a brief discussion about the meaning of the word grit. Then, they thought of two people that demonstrate grit in their opinion. The students listed the names of these two people in their notebooks.
-Students took notes on how to make comparisons in Spanish.
-Students wrote their own original sentences using the comparisons vocabulary in their notebooks.


Homework:
-Desi Arnaz biography due by 7:30 am on Friday, November 18,  2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Arnaz's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook pages 128 and 129.
-Finish any sample comparison sentences not completed in class.
-Go to www.classzone.com and take the 3.2 self check quiz. Email me your score in pvlearners by 7:30 AM on Monday, November 21, 2016.
-3.2 Lesson Quiz - Monday, November 21, 2016. Quiz Topics: lesson vocabulary, possessive adjectives and making comparisons.





Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up
-Students recited the 3.2 lesson vocabulary.
-Students reviewed their goals for this semester and reflected on their progress in their notebooks. 
-Students participated in a brief discussion about the word grit and the topic of growth mindset. Students identified two individuals that they consider to demonstrate grit and wrote their names down in their notebooks.
-Students took notes on stem changing verbs in the preterite: e -> i and o -> u.



Homework:
-Salma Hayek biography due by 7:30 am on Friday, November 18, 2016. This must be submitted via Google Classroom. Remember to explain why Ms. Hayek's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world. You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook pages 128 and 129.
-Go to www.classzone.com and take the 3.2 self check quiz. Email me your score in pvlearners by 7:30 AM on Monday, November 21, 2016.
