Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students added to their AR and ER verb lists and worked on the translations.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night.
-Students took notes on body parts vocabulary words in Spanish.
-Students drew a picture of an imaginary person based on the teacher's description.



Homework:
-José Martí biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, March 6, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Martí's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Complete workbook pages 75 and 78.
-4th timed verb post test this Friday over regular ER/IR verbs and CAR, GAR, ZAR verbs in the preterite.





Block 2  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students corrected the workbook page from last night. 
-Students took notes on the verb estar in the present tense.
-Students took notes on the differences between ser and estar. 
-Students completed a practice activity using estar. 
-Students played another round of vocabulary bingo.
-Students started their Circle Maps for brainstorming for their first writing assignment.


 
Homework:
-Martin Sheen biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, March 6, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Sheen's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Workbook pages 76 and 77.
-1st timed verb post test this Friday over regular AR verbs in the present tense.  





Block 5  Spanish 3-4:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students added to their AR verb lists and worked on the translations.
-Students listened to the introduction of the new vocabulary for 2.2.  
-Students repeated the new vocabulary after the teacher.
-Students took turns reading the introduction to the new vocabulary for 2.2.
-Students worked with their table groups to translate different sections of the introduction to the new vocabulary.
-Students started their Circle Maps to brainstorm ideas for their travel writing assignment.


Homework:
-José Martí biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, March 6, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Martí's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Copy 2.2 vocabulary list.  This can be done on paper or as flashcards on your phone.
