Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students corrected their workbook pages from last night. 
-Students listened to the introduction to the new vocabulary for 3.1.
-Students repeated the new vocabulary after the teacher.
-Students took turns reading the introduction to the new vocabulary aloud.
-Students worked with their table groups to translate sections of the introduction to the new vocabulary. 
-Students took notes on verbs with irregular yo forms in the present tense. 
-Students had some time to work on their reflexive projects.




Homework:
-Antonia Novello biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, March 13, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Novello's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook pages 102 and 103.
-5th timed verb post test this Friday over reflexive verbs - 2 in the present and 2 in the preterite.





Block 2  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night. 
-Students cut apart the jigsaw puzzles that they made yesterday and traded them with another student. 
-Students solved another student's vocabulary jigsaw puzzle.
-Students took notes on using the verb gustar with nouns.


 
Homework:
-Carolina Herrera biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, March 13, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Herrera's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Workbook page 101.
-2nd timed verb pretest this Friday over irregular verbs in the present tense: ser, tener, estar and ir.  





Block 5  Spanish 3-4:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students received their graded papers.
-Students worked on the Picasso Web Quest that is posted in the Google Classroom.
-Students practiced conjugating verbs in the present progressive tense.  


Homework:
-Antonia Novello biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, March 13, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Novello's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook page 81.
-Go to www.classzone.com and take the 2.2 self check quiz and email me your score at pvlearners.
-Unit 2 Lesson 2 Quiz Tomorrow.  Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, reflexive verbs and the present progressive tense.
