Blocks 1 & 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Luis Walter Alvarez and Rita Moreno and took notes on their accomplishments.
-Students in block 1 took notes on stem changing verbs in the present tense in their Interactive Student Notebooks.
-Students in block 1 completed a drawing activity to demonstrate which forms change and which forms don't when working with stem changing verbs.  This was also done in the ISN.
-Students in block 1 received the useful phrases handout to complete and paste in their notebooks.
-Students in block 4 played bingo using the cards they made last Friday.



Homework:
-José Ferrer biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, August 28, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Ferrer's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Block 1: workbook page 3.
-Block 2: workbook pages 1 and 2.







Block 2  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Luis Walter Alvarez and Rita Moreno and took notes on their accomplishments.
-Students took notes on stem changing verbs in the present tense in their Interactive Student Notebooks.
-Students completed a drawing using an assigned stem changing verb to represent the forms that do/do not change when working with stem changing verbs. This was done in the ISN also.
-Students received a copy of the Useful Phrases handout to complete and paste in their notebooks.
