Blocks 1 & 2  Spanish 3-4:
-Warm Up - Listening
-Students reviewed direct object pronouns by completing a handout (rewriting sentences with pronouns) and correcting their own papers.
-Students practiced regular AR verbs in the preterite by playing a dice game with a partner.
-Students received graded papers.

Homework:
-Due tomorrow:  8 sentences using the following verbs in the preterite (past tense): mandar, montar, tomar, visitar, nadar, hablar, mirar and escuchar.  Each sentence should be at least 6 words long.  Students also need to include at least 2 time expressions (the day before yesterday, last week, etc.)
-Luis Valdez biography email due by 7:30 AM,  Friday, September 13, 2013.  This must be submitted using pvlearners.  Remember to explain why Mr. Valdez's work is important to you.  You can always look back at the sample paragraph on the blog.



Block 4  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Warm Up - Listening
-Students reviewed direct object pronouns by completing a handout (answering questions in Spanish with pronouns) and correcting their own papers.
-Students took notes on the following irregular verbs in the preterite: ser, ir, ver and dar.
-Students played hangman with a partner using the 4 irregular verbs in the preterite and regular AR verbs in the preterite.
-Students started a circle map that will lead to their first essay.
