Block 1  Spanish 1-2:
-Warm Up
-Students corrected workbook pages.
-Students completed a review handout about telling time and vocabulary for things you do in your free time. 
-Students were reminded that the Unit 2 Lesson 2 test will be this Thursday, October 18, 2012.  The topics for the test are the lesson vocabulary, estar and ir.
-Students finished the video about Central America that we started yesterday.  The students created a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast the lifestyles of the two teens.
-Students discussed how they would feel if they lived in either one of these countries. 


Homework:
-Workbook page 81.
-Finish making verb flashcards for the verbs ir and estar.
-Carolina Herrera biography email is due by 7:30 am Friday, October 19, 2012.
-Study for the Unit 2 Lesson 2 Test on Thursday.



Blocks 2 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Warm Up 
-Students in block 2 corrected workbook pages.
-Students took notes on additional body parts vocabulary.
-Students played Simon Says in Spanish.
-Students were reminded that there will be a quiz over the body parts on Thursday, October 18.  The vocabulary words will have to be spelled correctly.
-Students were reminded that the Unit 2 Lesson 2 quiz will be this Friday, October 19.  The topics for the quiz are the lesson vocabulary, reflexive verbs and the present progressive tense. 
-Students received the directions for the reflexive project.  This project will be due next Tuesday, October 23, 2012.
 
Homework:
-Workbook page 81.
-5 sentences to describe the alien picture students were given.
-Antonia Novello biography email is due by 7:30 am Friday, October 19, 2012.
-Study for quizzes.
-Begin to work on the project.
