Block 1  Spanish 1-2:
-Warm Up - Students started a new paper
-Students corrected workbook pages from last week.
-Students completed a handout using the verb "ir". 
-Corrected papers were returned to students.
-Students watched the first part of a video about 2 students living in Central America and took notes on the video.
-Students were told that the Unit 2 Lesson 2 Test will be on Thursday, October 18, 2012. The topics for the test will be the lesson vocabulary and the verbs ir and estar.

Homework:
-Workbook pages 79 and 80
-Carolina Herrera biography email is due by 7:30 am Friday, October 19, 2012.

Blocks 2 and 4  Spanish 3-4:

-Warm Up - Students started a new paper.
-Students corrected workbook pages from last week.
-Corrected papers were returned to students.
-Students took notes on body parts vocabulary and completed a listening comprehension activity using that vocabulary. 
-Students completed a handout using body parts vocabulary and verbs.
-Students took notes on the present progressive tense. 
-Students were told that there will be a body parts vocabulary quiz this Thursday, October 18, 2012.  Students will have to label parts of the body and spell the words correctly.
-Students were told that the Unit 2 Lesson 2 Test will be this Friday, October 19, 2012.  The topics for the test are the lesson vocabulary, the present progressive tense and reflexive verbs.
