Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night.
-Students finished the reading comprehension activities for Chapter 3 of Pobre Ana.
-Students listened to the final segment of the telehistoria for 4.1.  We discussed the meaning of the legend and completed 3 reading comprehension activities.
-Students played Dig to practice the lesson vocabulary.



Homework:
-Salma Hayek biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, April 17, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Hayek's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook pages 150 and 153.
-7th timed verb pretest this Friday over verbs with irregular yo forms in the present tense.




Block 2  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night. 
-Students listened to the introduction to the new vocabulary for Unit 4 Lesson 1.  Then, they took turns reading the introduction to the new vocabulary aloud.  Students also translated selected portions of the introduction to the new vocabulary. 
-Students played vocabulary bingo using the cards they made yesterday.
-Students took notes on stem changing verbs in the present tense.

 
Homework:
-Tito Puente biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, April 17, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Puente's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Workbook pages 151 and 152.





Block 5  Spanish 3-4:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night.
-Students played Tic Tac Toe to practice the irregular verbs in the preterite.
-Students designed an outfit with accessories on a blank sheet of paper.
-Students traded their outfits with another student.  The students had to write 7 sentences describing the outfit that was drawn by another student.



Homework:

-No new written assignment.
