Block 1  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed Final Exam Review #5, which is pasted below.
-Any students who had not already done so, presented their oral final exams. 
-Students completed a vocabulary and verb conjugation review activity.

  1. List the 7 days of the week in Spanish and in English.  Use the dictionary in the back of the book if necessary.  



  1. Make a T Chart for the verb hacer.  Page 152.                                                                 



  1. Make a T Chart for the verbs poner and salir.  Page 277.




  1. Make a T Chart for the verbs decir and venir.  Page 277.




  1. Make a list of as many color words as you can.  Page 213.




  1. List the four seasons of the year.  Page 213.




  1. List at least 6 articles of clothing in both Spanish and English.  Page 213.




  1. Make a list of at least 7 words you might use in a restaurant in both Spanish and English.  Page 237.

9.  List at least 3 modes of transportation.  Page 237.

Homework:
-Study for the exam on Thursday. 
-Finish any of the final exam reviews that were not already completed.  If these were not already turned in, they will need to be turned in on the exam day. 



Blocks 2 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed Final Exam Review #5, which is pasted below. 
-Any students who had not already done so, presented their oral final exams.

  1. Identify the 3 irregular verbs in the imperfect.  Make a T chart for at least 1 of them.  P. 203.


  1. In your own words, explain the difference between the preterit and the imperfect.  P. 208.

  1. Make a list of at least 10 words that relate to talking about legends in Spanish and in English.  P. 217.


  1. List the spelling changes that take place in CAR, GAR, ZAR verbs in the yo form only in the preterit.  Make a T chart for sacar, jugar and comenzar.  P. 227.

  1. List the irregular stems for venir, querer, decir and traer. Make a T chart for any two of these.  P.  232.


  1. Make a list of at least 8 words related to ancient civilizations in Spanish and in English.  P. 241.

  1. Make a list of at least 8 words related to modern civilizations in Spanish and in English.  P. 241.

 
Homework:
-Study for the final exam.  Block 2 - tomorrow.  Block 4 - Thursday.
-Finish any final exam reviews that were not already completed.  If these were not already turned in, they will need to be turned in on the exam day.
