Block 1  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed Final Exam Review #4, which is pasted below.
-More students presented their oral finals.
-Students completed a vocabulary review activity.

Spanish 1-2

  1. List 3 foods that you could eat for breakfast and 3 foods that you could eat for lunch.  List the words in both Spanish and English.  Page 159.

  1. Translate each of the following into Spanish after copying down the English: tener ganas de, tener hambre, tener sed, el desayuno, el almuerzo, la cena.  Page 159.

  1. Write 3 sentences about foods that you like and 3 sentences about foods that you don’t like.  Page 145.

  1. Make a T Chart for the verbs beber and comer (both regular ER verbs). Page 150.

  1. Make a T Chart for the verbs vivir and escribir (both regular IR verbs).  Page 150.

  1. Write out the Spanish numbers for 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 80, 900, and 1,000.  Page 165

  1. List as many family vocabulary words as you can recall.  Write both the Spanish and the English.  Page 183.

8.  Make a list of at least 5 months of the year in both Spanish and English.  Page 165.
 

Homework:
-No new written assignment.
-Work on reviews 1 -  4, if necessary.

  1. List at least 5 vocabulary words related to clothing fit and fashion in Spanish and in English.  P. 163.

  1. List at least 5 vocabulary words for places that you shop in Spanish and in English.  P. 163.

  1. List at lease 5 vocabulary words for expressing preferences and opinions in Spanish and in English.  P. 163.

  1. Make a T chart for estar, poner and saber in the preterit.  P. 173.

  1. Make a T chart for preferir and dormir in the preterit.  P. 178.

  1. List at least 7 vocabulary words for items at the market in Spanish and in English.  P. 187.

  1. List at least 5 expressions of courtesy in Spanish and in English.  P. 187.
