Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 3.1 vocabulary.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Roberto Clemente and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students were told what will be on the Unit 3 Lesson 1 Quiz this Wednesday.
-Students received the "monster line up" handout. Students are to finish drawing their monsters so that they can trade them in class tomorrow and another student will write about their drawings.
-Students learned about using pronouns after prepositions.


Homework:
-Maria Hinojosa biography due by 7:30 am, April 1st, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Hinojosa's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Complete workbook pages 104 and 105.
-Body Parts Quiz - Tuesday, March 29th.
-Take the 3.1 self check quiz at www.classzone.com and email me a screenshot of your score by 7:30 am on Wenesday, March 30th.
-Unit 3 Lesson 1 Quiz - Wednesday, March 30th. Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, verbs with irregular yo forms in the present tense, verbs like gustar and pronouns after prepositions. 
-6th  Timed Verb Post Test over verbs with irregular yo forms in the present tense will be on Friday, April 1st.
-Reflexive project is due by midnight on Tuesday, March 29th.






Blocks 2 & 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 3.1 vocabulary.
-Students in block 2 updated the table of contents for their ISNs.
-Students in block 2 took the second timed verb pretest over regular ER and IR verbs in the present tense.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Jaime Escalante and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students started their S, Q, A charts about Cuba in their ISNs.


Homework:
-Oscar de la Hoya biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, April 1, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. de la Hoya's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Block 2: no new written assignment. 
-Block 4: complete workbook pages 102 and 103. 
-Take the 3.1 self check quiz at www.classzone.com and email me a screenshot of your score by 7:30 am on Wednesday, March 30, 2016.
-Unit 3 Lesson 1 Quiz - Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, using the verb gustar with nouns and regular ER and IR verbs in the present tense.
-2nd timed verb post test will be on Friday, April 1, 2016. The test will cover regular ER and IR verbs in the present tense.
