Block 1  Spanish 1-2:
-Warm Up
-Students read about the use of masks as part of the Dia de los Muertos celebration and then created their own masks.
-Students read about the importance of ofrendas during the celebration of Dia de los Muertos and drew a picture of an ofrenda. 


Homework:
-Go to www.classzone.com and take the Unit 3 Lesson 1 self check quiz.  Remember to email me your score by 7:30 AM on Monday, November 5. 
-Study for the Unit 3 Lesson 1 quiz on Monday, November 5.  Topics: 3.1 vocabulary, regular er and ir verbs in the present tense and the verb gustar with nouns. 



Blocks 2 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Warm Up 
-Students created their own cursive name skulls - an art project shared with us by one our PV art teachers, Mrs. Cruse.
-Students participated in a class discussion of how the skeletons should look.
 
Homework:
-Go to www.classzone.com and take the Unit 3 Lesson 1 self check quiz.  Be sure to email me your score by 7:30 AM on Monday, November 5.
-Study for the Unit 3 Lesson 1 quiz on Monday, November 5.  Topics:  3.1 vocabulary, verbs with irregular yo forms in the present tense and verbs like gustar (encantar, interesar, etc.).
