Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students quizzed a partner over the 3.2 lesson vocabulary.
-Students copied the Nota gramatical from page 172 in the text onto page 63 in their notebooks. This information explained how to describe how long something has been going on.
-Students completed activity 4 from page 172 in the text on page 63 in their notebooks.
-Students created a word search using 20 words from the 3.2 vocabulary, the question words and the 4 seasons. The students had to hide 20 Spanish words in the puzzle and write 20 clues at the bottom of the puzzle. Students did not solve these puzzles because they will trade them with another student tomorrow.
-Students completed a vocabulary handout.

-Students created concrete poetry for 5 of the new vocabulary words on page 60 in their notebooks.
-Students finished the 3.1 lectura handouts and glued them onto pages 56 and 57 in their notebooks.
-Students created a bingo card using the new vocabulary from page 187, the question words from page 64 and the 4 seasons. The front of the card should have 25 Spanish words and the back of the card should have 7 pictures and 18 English translations.
-Students read the introduction to the new vocabulary on pages 168 and 169 in the text. Then, they translated sections A and C into English on page 60 in their notebooks.

Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 3.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students worked on their Me Gusta Posters on page 54 in their notebooks. The students need to use 6 of the verbs from page 55. They should have a total of 12 sentences. They could use each verb in the positive or negative form and they could use each verb in the singular or plural form. Each sentence needs a picture to go with it and the pictures must be in color. 
-Students in block 4 played a verb dice game to practice the verbs with irregular yo forms in the present tense.
-Students in block 1 discussed pronouns after prepositions.

-Students traded their outfit designs with another student in the class. Then, each student had to write at least 7 sentences describing the outfit in Spanish. 
-When students returned the notebooks to their owners, the student who drew the picture had to correct the other student's sentences.
-Students played a verb dice game to practice the verbs with irregular yo forms in the present tense.
