Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:

-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students received graded papers.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Maria Hinojosa and Jerry Garcia and took notes on their accomplishments.
-Students completed the listening activities for Chapter 2 of Pobre Ana.
-Students took notes on conjugating regular and irregular verbs in the imperfect tense.

Homework:

-Salma Hayek biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, April 17, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Hayek's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook pages 151 and 152.
-Make a bingo card using the 4.1 lesson vocabulary.  The front of the card should have 25 Spanish words.  The back of the card should have 10 pictures and 15 English translations.
-7th timed verb pretest this Friday: verbs with irregular yo forms in the present tense.

Block 2  Spanish 1-2:

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Oscar de la Hoya and Antonia Hernandez and took notes on their accomplishments. 
-Students practiced using the comparisons that we learned last week.
-Students had time to work on their family trees and their writing assignments that go along with the family tree.

 
Homework:

-Tito Puente biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, April 17, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Puente's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Workbook pages 130 and 136.
-Take the 3.2 self check quiz at www.classzone.com and email me your score in pvlearners.
-3.2 Lesson quiz tomorrow.  Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, possessive adjectives, dates and comparisons.
-4th timed verb pretest this Friday: stem changing verbs in the present tense.  






Block 5  Spanish 3-4:

-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students received graded papers.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Maria Hinojosa and Jerry Garcia and took notes on their accomplishments.
-Students played vocabulary concentration using the games they created last week.
