It's Spirit Week!

Today was Tie Dye Day.

Tomorrow is Workout Wednesday.

Today was a 1/2 day for students.

Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:

-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Jorge Mas Canosa and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students shared their slides about the cities in Mexico that they selected to study.

Homework:

-Joan Baez biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, May 1, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Baez's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook pages 173 and 174.
-8th timed verb post test this Friday over regular and irregular verbs in the imperfect tense.

Block 2  Spanish 1-2:

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Tito Puente and Judith Baca and took notes on their accomplishments. 
-Students listened to the introduction to the new vocabulary for 4.2.
-Students repeated the new vocabulary for 4.2.
-Students took turns reading the introduction to the new vocabulary aloud.
-Students worked with their table groups to translate a section of the introduction to the new vocabulary.

 
Homework:

-Desi Arnaz biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, May 1, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Arnaz's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-No new written assignment.






Block 5  Spanish 3-4:

-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students took notes on the imperfect tense: regular and irregular verbs.
-Students practiced the vocabulary from 4.1 by drawing pictures of words that were listed for them. 

Homework:
