Blocks 1 and 4 Spanish 1-2:

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the Spanish alphabet.
-Students in block 1 had a fire drill.
-Students in block 4 practiced their introductory dialogs with several partners.
-Some students recited the alphabet for me at my desk.

Today we were on an assembly schedule for our PRIDE Assembly.  

Blocks 1 and 4 Spanish 1-2:

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the Spanish alphabet.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Carlos Santana and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students completed their PRIDE sheets on page 1 of their Interactive Student Notebooks (ISNs).
-Students added the Lesson 1 vocabulary on page 5 of their ISNs.
-Some students recited the alphabet for me at my desk.

Homework:
-Ellen Ochoa's biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, August 17,  2018.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to answer all of the questions on the document.

Blocks 1 and 4 Spanish 1-2:

-Students learned 4 questions for an introductory conversation in Spanish.
-Students practiced their conversations with three different partners.
-Students completed a second find someone who activity to get to know other students in the class.
-Students completed a tour of the text to become familiar with the textbook for this course.

Welcome to the 2018 - 2019 School Year!

¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español! I am looking forward to a terrific year! You will only need a few supplies for this class. Please have the following items with you in class by Friday, August 10th. You will need: 1 - one subject spiral bound notebook (you’ll want to get the ones that are 25 cents and have a paper cover.), 3-5 glue sticks, & a package of colored pencils. We’ll be using the colored pencils a LOT, I recommend Crayola. They seem to last the longest and color the best. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please let me know. See you Tuesday.
