Final Exam Information - All Classes:
-Writing Final Exam - Friday, December 9th in class
-Famous Hispanic Individuals Exam - Friday, December 16th in class
-Speaking Finals - Due by midnight on December 16th. Record yourself using vocaroo.com and past the link into a blog post titled, "Speaking Final". The speaking prompts and grading rubric are posted in the Google Classroom.
-Multiple Choice Final Exam - Wednesday, December 21st Blocks 2 and 5
                                                  Thursday, December 22nd  Blocks 1 and 3 or 4


Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 4.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night.
-Student listened to the introduction to the vocabulary for 4.1.
-Students played vocabulary bingo using the cards they made last week.


Homework:
-Oscar de la Renta biography due by 7:30 am on Friday, December 2,  2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. de la Renta's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook pages 150 and 153.
-Record yourself reading pages 194 and 195 from the text using vocaroo.com. I have included pictures of those two pages below. Post the link for your recording on your blog and title the blog post "4.1 Vocabulary Reading". This assignment is due by midnight on Friday, December 2, 2016.








Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 4.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students corrected the workbook page from last night.
-Students took notes on the 3 irregular verbs in the imperfect tense: ser, ir and ver.
-Students played bingo using the cards they made on Monday.
 

Homework:
-Joan Baez biography due by 7:30 am on Friday, December 2, 2016. This must be submitted via Google Classroom. Remember to explain why Ms. Baez's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world. You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook pages 151 and 152 - Activities 2 and 3 only on each page.
-Record yourself reading pages 198 and 199 from the text using vocaroo.com. Post the link for your recording on your blog and title the blog post "4.1 Vocabulary Reading". This assignment is due by midnight on Friday, December 2, 2016.

-Finish your family tree if that has not already been done.





Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students corrected workbook pages 148 and 149.
-Students recited the 4.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students listened to the introduction to the new vocabulary and took turns reading it aloud.
-Students worked with their table groups to translate a portion of the introduction to the new vocabulary.
-Students took notes on regular AR, ER and IR verbs in the imperfect tense. 
-Students started playing bingo using the cards that they created yesterday.

-Students copied the 4.1 lesson vocabulary into their notebooks.
-Students created a bingo card using the vocabulary for 4.1. The front of the card has 25 Spanish words and the back of the card has 8 pictures and 17 English translations.

Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up and turned in their papers for the last two weeks.
-Students copied the 4.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students turned in their 3.2 workbook pages.
-Students created a bingo card using the 4.1 lesson vocabulary. The front of the card should have 25 Spanish words (1 per box) and the back of the card should have 15 pictures and 10 English translations.
-Students created a list of things for which they are thankful in Spanish.


Homework:
-Lucrezia Bori biography due by midnight on Tuesday, November 22,  2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Bori's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-No new written assignment.

-Students selected 5 of the cards from the concentration game to glue in their notebooks. They had to use each of these words in a sentence.
-Students finished any work from Wednesday that had not already been completed and turned it in.

-Students completed any work from Wednesday that was not already finished and turned it in. 
-Students selected 5 pictures from a magazine and glued them into their notebooks.  Then, the students had to describe what materials the items were made from in Spanish.
-Students played a final round of concentration.
-Students selected 5 cards from the concentration game and glued them into their notebooks. Then, they had to use each word in a sentence along with an irregular verb or stem changing verb in the preterite.


Homework:
