Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up on a new paper.
-Students recited the 3.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students added an additional note about the irregular yo form of hacer to their notes on ER and IR verbs in the present tense.
-Students played Tic Tac Toe with a partner using ER and IR verbs in the present tense.
-Students in block 1 took notes on the verb gustar with nouns.
-Students finished any remaining work from Friday.

Homework:
-Tito Puente biography due by 7:30 am on Friday, November 4,  2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Puente's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Block 1: workbook pages 102 and 103
-Block 4: no new written assignment





Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up on a new paper.
-Students recited the 3.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students had time to practice their daily routine dialogs.
-Students finished any remaining work from Friday.
-Students worked on a blog post about famous Hispanic fashion designers.

-Maria Hinojosa biography due by 7:30 am on Friday, November 4, 2016. This must be submitted via Google Classroom. Remember to explain why Ms. Hinojosa's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world. You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.

-Students created a skeleton using a cursive version of their first names for the torso for El Día de los Muertos.

-Students researched famous Hispanic chefs. Then, they started a blog post to share the information they learned about 5 chefs.

-Students participated in a class discussion about Jaime Escalante and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students finished any remaining work from Friday.
-Students turned in their work from last Friday to be stamped.
-Students in block 1 played bingo using the cards they made last week.
-Students in block 4 participated in an activity with 2 students from Link Crew.
-Students in block 4 had time to finish their 2.2 tests from last week if they needed that.
