Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 1-2:

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the days of the week, numbers 0 - 10 and the preliminary lesson vocabulary.
-Students practiced spelling Spanish names using the Spanish alphabet.
-Students practiced writing down the numbers that were read to them in Spanish.
-Students in block 4 finished playing bingo using the cards they made last week.
-Students took the preliminary lesson quiz. 

Homework:
-Cesar Chavez biography due by 7:30 am on Friday, August 26,  2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Chavez's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-No new written assignment.

-Be prepared to present your dialogue for the teacher if you have not already done that.

Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the preliminary lesson vocabulary.
-Students took the preliminary lesson quiz. 
-Students started the assignment that requires a visual representation about the Spanish speaking countries who won medals in the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Homework:

-Rita Moreno biography due by 7:30 am on Friday, August 26, 2016. This must be submitted via Google Classroom. Remember to explain why Ms. Moreno's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world. You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-No new written assignment.
-Work on your visual representation of your data about the number of medals won by Spanish speaking countries in the 2016 Olympics. These will be due Thursday. 
-First timed verb post test over regular and irregular verbs in the present tense Friday, August 26, 2016.
