Blocks 1 and 4 Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students turned in their homework from last night.
-Students had time to continue working on the vocabulary playlist that is posted in the Google Classroom.
-Some students recorded the reading assessment. Details for this assignment can be found in the Google Classroom.
-Students played bingo using the cards they created yesterday.


Homework:
-Celia Cruz's biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, September 14,  2018.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to answer all of the questions on the document.
-Workbook page 29.
-Block 1: Vocabulary Reading Assessment is due by 11:59 PM tonight.
-Block 4: Vocabulary Reading Assessment is due by 11:59 PM tomorrow night.




Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the lesson 1 vocabulary. 
-Students quizzed a partner over the indefinite and negative words using the flashcards they created yesterday.
-Students played a flashcard game using the cards from yesterday.
-Students completed a survey of other students in the class using the reflexive verbs and frequency words in Spanish.


Homework:
-Sandra Cisneros's  biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, September 14, 2018. This must be submitted via Google Classroom. Remember to answer all of the questions on the document.
-Workbook page 12. 
-Vocabulary Reading Assessment is due by 11:59 PM tonight.

Blocks 1 and 4 Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Alberto Alonso and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students added the lesson 2 vocabulary to their notebooks.
-Students started adding numbers over 30 to their notebooks.
-Students created a bingo card using the new vocabulary. The front of the card needs to have 25 Spanish words from the new vocabulary list (one per box). The back of the card should have pictures for 15 of the words and English translations for 10 of the words that correspond to the boxes on the front.


Homework:
-Celia Cruz's biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, September 14,  2018.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to answer all of the questions on the document.
-Finish the vocabulary list and the bingo card if those items were not completed in class today.




Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:

-Students recited the lesson 1 vocabulary. 
-Students participated in a class discussion about Luis Valdez and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students completed an individual student playlist. The directions for this are in the Google Classroom.

-Students quizzed a partner over the concepts for today's quiz.
-Students took the lesson 1 test.

Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the lesson 1 vocabulary. 
-Students quizzed a partner over the reflexive verb meanings and conjugations.
-Students took the reflexive verb quiz.
-Students had time to work on their reflexive verb projects in the Google Classroom.


Homework:
-Reflexive Verb Projects are due by 11:59 PM on Friday, September 7, 2018.

-Study for the lesson 1 test on Friday, September 7, 2018. Topics for the test: gender and number agreement, lesson vocabulary, subject pronouns, the forms of the verb ser, definite/indefinite articles and telling time.

-Students received graded papers.

It's Homecoming Week! Tomorrow's dress up day is Finding Waves. 

Wear your (school appropriate) Beachwear.


Blocks 1 and 4 Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the lesson 1 vocabulary.
-Students completed the online review for lesson 1.
-Students were told about the content of the lesson 1 test on Friday.
-Students in block 4 completed a time partner activity.

-Students received graded papers.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Isabel Allende and took notes on her accomplishments.
-Students finished taking notes on telling time.
-Students completed a time handout in class.
-Students had time to attach their covers to their notebooks.
