Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 1-2:

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the vocabulary for Unit 1 Lesson 2.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night.
-Students in block 4 took notes on definite and indefinite articles.
-Students cut out 5 pictures from magazines and glued them in their notebooks. Students had to write sentences in Spanish for each picture telling the name of the person, his/her age, where the person is from, 3 adjectives to describe the person and 2 likes or dislikes of the person.

Homework:
-No new written assignment.

Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the vocabulary for Unit 1 Lesson 2.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night.
-Students took the 2nd timed verb post test over stem changing verbs in the present tense.
-Some students finished the 1.1 lesson quiz.
-Students practiced regular AR verbs in the preterite tense.

Homework:

-No new written assignment.
-Remaining travel dialogs are due on Monday, September 12, 2016.

-Students copied the 1.2 lesson vocabulary into their notebooks.
-Students created a bingo card using the words from 1.2. The front of the card should have one Spanish word per box. The back of the card should have 8 pictures and 17 English translations.
-Students in block 1 participated in a class discussion about Isabel Allende and took notes on her accomplishments.
