Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 2.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night.
-Students in block 1 took notes on the demonstrative pronouns and completed two more sections on the handout they were given Friday.
-Students in block 4 took notes on the demonstrative adjectives and completed 2 sections on a handout to practice using them.
-Students quizzed a partner over the 2.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students in block 1 finished playing Ataque.


Homework:
-Gloria Estefan's biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, March 3,  2017.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Estefan's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Block 1: Workbook page 56 section 3 and all of page 58.
-Block 4: Workbook pages 56 and 57 - do not complete section 3 on either page.
-Block 1: Take the 2.1 self check quiz at www.classzone.com and email me a picture of your score by 7:30 AM tomorrow

Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed the warm up on a new paper. 
-Students quizzed a partner over the 2.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students read the introduction to the new vocabulary for 2.1 and translated either section A or section C on a blank sheet of notebook paper. They turned these papers in to the basket.
-Students completed the vocabulary handout and turned it in to the basket.
-Students created concrete poetry for 6 words from the 2.1 vocabulary list on page 26 in their notebooks. Students could refer to page 6 for examples of concrete poetry that they have already completed.

-Students read the introduction to the new vocabulary for 2.1 and translated both sections A and C on a blank sheet of paper. These papers were turned in to the basket.

Today was a 1/2 day.


Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed the warm up and turned in their papers for the last two weeks.
-Students recited the 2.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night.
-Students in block 1 played bingo using the cards they made last night.
-Students in block 4 started creating their bingo cards for unit 2 lesson 1. The front of the card should have 1 Spanish word per box. The back of the card should have 10 pictures and 15 English translations. 



Homework:
-Block 1: no new written assignment.
-Block 4: finish the bingo card if that was not completed in class.

-Students finished the indirect object pronoun handout and glued it on page 24 in their notebooks.
-Students copied the 2.1 lesson vocabulary onto page 27 in their notebooks.
-Students in block 4 finished the verb Battleship game and turned in their papers.
-Students in block 4 finished correcting the 1.2 workbook pages and turned those in.
-Students in block 1 created a bingo card using the 2.1 vocabulary. The front of the card should have 25 Spanish words. The back of the card should have 10 pictures and 15 English translations in the corresponding boxes.

Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed the warm up
-Students quizzed a partner over the 1.2 lesson vocabulary.
-Students read the introduction to new vocabulary and translated either section A or C on a blank piece of paper and turned it in.
-Students created a word search using a combination of 20 vocabulary words and preterite verb forms. The Spanish word needed to be hidden in the puzzle and the English translation or subject & infinitive verb form needed to be written at the bottom of the paper.

Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 1.2 lesson vocabulary.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from the last two days.
-Students took notes on the following irregular verbs in the preterite: ser, ir, dar, ver and hacer.
-Students started writing 5 sentences using regular AR verbs in the preterite on page 20 in their notebooks and 5 sentences using the 5 irregular verbs in the preterite on page 22 in their notebooks. Each sentence needed an illustration with it.
-Students practiced their dialogs with two partners.
-Some students presented their dialogs to the teacher.
-Students finished solving the jigsaw puzzle that they received from another student in the class if that wasn't done yesterday.

-Students worked on their visual representations of the rules for stem changing verbs using the verb that was assigned to them.
-Students practiced their first dialogs with a couple of partners.
