Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the preliminary lesson vocabulary and the alphabet.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Dr. Luis Alvarez and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students added words from the preliminary lesson vocabulary list to their notebooks.
-Students created concrete poetry for 6 vocabulary words from the preliminary lesson vocabulary list.
-Students selected a picture of a person from a magazine. Then, they wrote 7 sentences describing the person in the picture.
-Some students presented the Spanish alphabet to the teacher.


Homework:
-Rita Moreno biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, January 20,  2017.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Moreno's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Finish the vocabulary list, concrete poetry and 7 sentence description if these items were not completed in class.
-Go to www.classzone.com and take the preliminary lesson self check quiz. Email me your score at my pvlearners by 7:30 am tomorrow.
-Study for the preliminary lesson quiz tomorrow. Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, regular AR, ER and IR verbs and the following irregular verbs: ser, tener, ir and estar.





Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
