Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the 1.1 vocabulary.
-Students completed a listening comprehension activity.
-Students took notes on stem changing verbs.
-Each student was assigned a stem changing verb and the students have to create a picture that represents the distinction between the two verb forms that don't stem change and the rest of the verb forms.  This should be completed on page 14 in the ISN.
-Students finished their S, Q, A charts on Machu Picchu and then, they had to create a travel poster for Machu Picchu on page 10 of their ISNs. The poster must include at least 4 things that a visitor could do there.



Homework:
-Mario Molina biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, January 22, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Molina's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Finish the stem changing verb picture on page 14 in the ISN if this was not completed in class.
-Finish filling in the A column of the S, Q, A chart if this was not done in class. 
-Complete workbook pages 1 and 2.
-2nd Timed Verb Test over stem changing verbs in the present tense will be on Friday, January 22nd. 
-1.1 Lesson Quiz will be on Thursday, January 28, 2016.
-Parent Teacher Conferences will be held the evening of Thursday, January 28, 2016.





Blocks 2 & 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the Unit 1 Lesson 1 vocabulary in Spanish.
-Students took notes on the subject pronouns in Spanish.
-Students finished adding at least 12 facts to the A column of their S, Q, A charts about Barcelona on page 13 in the ISN.
-Students started creating their travel posters about Barcelona on page 12 in their ISNs.  The poster needs to fill most of the page.  It needs to have a drawing that represents Barcelona and at least 4 activities that a person could participate in if he/she visited Barcelona.


  
Homework:
-Cesar Chavez biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, January 22, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Chavez's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
