Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night. 
-Students added a second page to their AR verb lists and worked with their table groups to translate the verbs.
-Students started marking their verb lists for irregular verbs, CAR/GAR/ZAR verbs, etc.  
-Students worked on their rough drafts for the writing assignment about a trip they took at some time in the past.
-Students had time to start their workbook pages in class.



Homework:
-Gloria Estefan biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, February 27, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Estefan's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Complete workbook pages 54, 55 and 58.
-Go to www.classzone.com and take the 2.1 self check quiz.  Remember to email me your score by 7:30 AM tomorrow. 
-4th timed verb pretest this Friday over regular ER/IR verbs and CAR, GAR, ZAR verbs in the preterite.
-3rd binder check on Thursday, February 26, 2015
-Unit 2 Lesson 1 Quiz on Thursday, February 26, 2015.  Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, regular ER and IR verbs in the preterite, demonstrative adjectives and adverbs. 




Block 2  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night.
-Students wrote out a series of 12 times and then traded papers.  On another student's paper, each student had to write out the 12 Spanish sentences saying what time it was.
-Some clarifications were made about telling time in Spanish.
-Students completed a practice handout telling time in Spanish. 

 
Homework:
-Sonia Sotomayor biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, February 27, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Sotomayor's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Complete workbook pages 55 and 58.
-Go to www.classzone.com and take the 2.1 self check quiz. Remember to email me a copy of your score by 7:30 AM tomorrow. 
-3rd notebook check on Thursday, February 26, 2015.
-Unit 2 Lesson 1 Quiz on Thursday, February 26, 2015.  Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, the verb tener, regular AR verbs in the present tense and telling time. 
-1st timed verb pretest this Friday over regular AR verbs in the present tense.  





Block 5  Spanish 3-4:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students corrected the workbook pages from last night.
-Students used the vocabulary flashcards they made last night to quiz other students in their groups about the vocabulary.  
-Students used the flashcards to form a bingo card and we played vocabulary bingo. 
-Students started their homework for tonight.
