**Tomorrow is a 1/2 day for students.**



Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Luis Valdez and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students had time to work on their dialogs.
-Students finished the indirect object pronoun handout that they started on Friday.
-Students received another student's word search using conjugated forms of preterite verbs to solve.




Homework:
-Sandra Cisneros biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, February 13, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Cisnero's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Complete workbook pages 7 and 8. 
-3rd timed verb pretest this Friday over regular and irregular verbs in the preterite.
-Unit 1 Lesson 2 Quiz this Wednesday.   Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, regular AR verbs in the preterite, irregular verbs in the preterite (ser, ir, dar, ver and hacer) and indirect object pronouns.




Block 2  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Alberto Alonso and took notes on his accomplishments. 
-Correct workbook pages.
-Students started their dialogs discussing themselves and their friends including their likes and dislikes along with adjectives that describe them. 
  


Homework:
-Celia Cruz email due by 7:30 am, Friday, February 13, 2015.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Cruz's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Complete workbook pages 30 and 31.  
-Take the Unit 1 Lesson 2 Self Check Quiz at www.classzone.com and email me a screenshot of your score.  This is due by 7:30 am on Wednesday, February 11th.
-Unit 1 Lesson 2 Quiz on Wednesday, February 11th.  Quiz topics: lesson vocabulary, adjective agreement and definite and indefinite articles.




Block 5  Spanish 3-4:
-Students  completed the warm up.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Luis Valdez and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students quizzed a partner over the lesson vocabulary.
-Students completed an AR preterite verb activity.


Homework:
