Blocks 1 and 4 Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students in block 1 participated in a class discussion about Martin Sheen and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students copied the lesson 3 vocabulary into their notebooks.
-Students started creating a vocabulary concentration game using the words from lesson 3.

Homework:
-Carolina Herrera's biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, October 12,  2018.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to answer all of the questions on the document.

Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students quizzed a partner over the lesson 2 vocabulary.
-Students took notes on direct object pronouns. 
-Students completed direct object pronoun handout #1. After I checked their handouts, the students glued them in their notebooks.
-Students had to write 5 sample sentences with direct object nouns on page 52 in their notebooks. Then, the students had to rewrite each of the sentences replacing the direct object noun with the correct direct object pronoun.


Homework:

-Antonia Novello's  biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, October 12, 2018. This must be submitted via Google Classroom. Remember to answer all of the questions on the document.
-Complete workbook page 41 and complete the 2 online exercises that are assigned on the calendar for tomorrow on the textbook website.

-Students practiced numbers 31 to one million during the snowball activity.
-Students played team charades using the verb vocabulary words from this list.
-Students played a vocabulary game with a partner using the nouns and direction words from this list.
-Students were reminded about what will be on the lesson 2 test on Monday.
-Students in block 4 worked on writing their questions for the survey using regular AR verbs.

Homework:
-Complete the review handout you were given in class today.

Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the lesson 2 vocabulary.
-Students played DIG to practice the lesson vocabulary. 
-Students watched the lesson 2 vocabulary fotonovela and discussed it.
-Students summarized the fotonovela in 4 sentences and completed 2 comprehension activities (page 56 in the text) about it on page 51 in their notebooks. 
-Students used the remaining time to work on the stem changing verb playlists that they started on Wednesday.

-Students shared their current events from last week with their table groups. Each table had to share the most interesting current event with the class. 
-Students received a regular ER verb list and a regular IR verb list. Students translated the verbs into English and trimmed the handouts down to fit in their notebooks.
