Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the preliminary lesson vocabulary and the alphabet.
-Students started to assemble their Interactive Student Notebooks.
-Students added the ISN contract and the important sites information to the inside front cover of their notebooks.
-Students glued the 4 table of contents pages in their notebooks.
-Students completed the PRIDE handout and glued it into their notebooks.
-Students started decorating the covers of their notebooks.


Homework:
-Luis Walter Alvarez biography is due by 11:59 pm on Tuesday, January 17,  2017.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Alvarez's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Rita Moreno biography is due by 7:30 am on Friday, January 20,  2017.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Moreno's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-No new written assignment.
-You will need a single subject spiral notebook, 2 glue sticks and colored pencils for this class.

Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed the warm up after being taught how to set up the paper. Students were told that the first 7 questions on the writing final exam will be the items we practiced writing out today: fecha, día, mañana, ayer, hora, tiempo and estación.
-Students recited the preliminary lesson vocabulary and the alphabet.
-Students completed another find someone who activity to get to know one another.
-Students translated 5 sentences from English into Spanish.
-Students created a bingo care using the 25 most difficult words from the preliminary lesson vocabulary list. The front of the card should have 25 Spanish words and the back of the card should have 7 pictures and 18 English translations.


Homework:

Welcome Back!


Blocks 1 and 4  Spanish 3-4:
-Students completed a student information sheet.
-Students answered questions in Spanish.
-Students listened to my introduction to myself in Spanish and translated the main ideas into English.
-Students wrote a brief introduction to themselves in Spanish.
-Students completed a find someone who activity to get to know the other students in the class.
-Students completed a round table review to identify the words they could remember from Spanish 1-2.


Homework:
-Write a list of at least 5 questions that you learned to ask in Spanish 1-2. This is due tomorrow at the beginning of the period.
-You will need a single subject spiral notebook, 2 glue sticks and colored pencils for this class by next Tuesday, 1/17.
