Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:

-Students  completed the warm up activity.  They started a new paper because the turned in their old papers last week. 
-Students participated in a class discussion about Jose Ferrer and Dolores Huerta and took notes on their accomplishments.
-Students completed their jersey designs and used those to create the fronts of their portfolios.
-Students had time at the end of the period to finish the assignment for the WebQuest for Unit 1 online at www.classzone.com. This assignment is being completed in pairs.

-Students quizzed a partner over the 1.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students created their own word searches using 17 words from page 55.  The Spanish words were hidden in the puzzle and the English translations were written at the bottom of the page.   
-Students started a rough draft of a paragraph explaining the things that they would need to do to get ready for and begin a trip.  The paragraph must have at least 9 sentences and be written entirely in Spanish.
