Teacher Training!

Today while you were working hard with your substitute, I was attending a fantastic teacher training.  Check out this picture:



Blocks 1 & 2  Spanish 3-4:
-Warm Up
-Students watched the video about Dia de los Muertos and filled in information on their circle maps.
-Students completed a vocabulary handout.
-Students completed a handout to practice verbs with irregular yo forms in the present tense. 
-Students started a drawing of an outfit that included at least 7 items (clothing and accessories).  These items should be colored, but they should not be labeled as students will be trading papers.

-Students received a blank sheet of white paper to use to draw an outfit.  The outfit needs to include at least 7 articles of clothing and/or accessories.  All of the items should be colored, but nothing should be labeled as these will be traded with another student.

-Students completed activity 6 on page 150 in the text to practice the verbs with irregular yo forms.
-Students copied the new vocabulary list for Unit 3 Lesson 1.
-Students made a bingo card using the vocabulary from Unit 3 Lesson 1.  The front of the card should have 1 Spanish word per box. The back of the card should have pictures for 15 of the words and English translations for the other 10.
-Students read "Vivir de la Tierra" in the textbook and completed the handout that went along with the reading assignment.
